Complyport is delighted to announce that it has been included in the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)’s Skilled Person Panel for Prudential – Adequate Financial Resources for FCA solo-regulated firm. ‘Skilled persons’ are external sources used by the UK Regulator when they need to source additional expert views or additional analysis “about aspects of a regulated firm’s activities”. Firms included on the Skilled Person Panel are pre-vetted services suppliers that FCA must refer to when seeking tenders for the supply of services to the FCA; the FCA is the client and is responsible for the payment of fees.
Inclusion in the Skilled Person panel for Prudential – Adequate Financial Resources for FCA solo-regulated firm means that, if required by the FCA, Complyport can provide “Advice, skills and technical expertise in evaluating whether solo-regulated firms are accurately assessing adequate financial resources to ensure they meet threshold conditions and on-going regulatory requirements.”
