The FCA have advised they are launching a new online invoicing portal on 12th April 2021 for firms to access their invoices and arrange payment of their fees. Until the new system goes live, firms should continue to use the existing invoicing online portal.
The existing portal will not be available after 31st March 2021.
The FCA have advised firms that they will not be able to view or download invoices paid before 31st March 2021 in the new portal. Users are encouraged to download this information ahead of April.
Action Point: If you have not already done so, make sure to download your previous invoice information (it will not be available to retrieve on the new system).
The FCA have advised that they are upgrading their internal finance systems to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
The FCA’s new invoicing portal will allow firms to use their existing Connect log in details. The FCA’s previous system required an additional log in and password, to Connect and Gabriel.
Action Point; If not already registered on Connect, users will need to set up an account to access the new invoicing portal. As the previous fees portal would have been used by both compliance and finance staff, those wishing to access the fees portal will need to be registered on Connect (if they have not already done so).
