Alla Konnikov, Managing Director, is in charge of People, Operations and Resourcing as well as head of legal and compliance. Alla joined Complyport in 2019 from a full-time professorship at the University of Law, where she taught for 15 years.

Alla Konnikov is also a Director at the London Governance and Compliance Academy (LGCA) and the Association of Governance Risk and Compliance (AGRC) as well as an Associate Professor and Director of the Law and Business Programme at the University of Law in London, UK.

Alla earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Psychology (Hon) and a MSc in Psychology (Hon) at Columbia University, USA. Alla received her law qualification (Distinction) from The College of Law London, UK, and qualified as a solicitor at Clifford Chance LLP, working in the field of regulatory compliance and international finance for over 10 years. Alla has been involved in diverse range of academic, training and leadership roles working with senior, global leadership teams to create and deliver practical solutions to implement the firm’s strategy.
